Open Support Group
First Tuesday 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm - short break at 8 pm
You can bring a partner or friend to support you on your first visit to this group where anyone touched by adoption is welcomed. Jigsaw aims to create a safe space for you to share your journey and thoughts and we’re consistently reminded by those participating that they particularly enjoy hearing from all parts of the adoption triangle.

Birth Mother Support Group
Third Saturday 1.30 pm to 3.30 pm – afternoon tea break.
This long running Group continues to thrive thanks to the many regular participants, yet always offering a welcome hand to new members.

Adoptee Support Group
Third Wednesday 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm - short break at 8pm
Sharing is always by choice only and yet each meeting seems to have a different theme and direction, which evolves without effort thanks to the participants, who also often comment how comfortable they feel in an ‘adoptee only’ environment.
Contact the office for more information – 3358 6666 or email jigsawqueensland@bigpond.com
The faces may change over time but the themes and questions and issues for those touched by adoption remain the same, as does Jigsaw’s commitment to being there for you.
If you live close enough, or visit Brisbane occasionally, do your best to make it one of our support groups. Consistent feedback confirms you will benefit in your own way. If you’re holding back for one reason or another, why not send off an email or pick up the phone to chat with one of our trained volunteer helpers and share what’s on your mind.
Each person seems to have their own reason for attending and also their own reaction and benefit from being involved. They are simply a safe place and a caring space for you to attend, even if you’re not sure why.
