Become a Jigsaw Volunteer

If you have some hours to spare each week or fortnightly or month, you may like to consider becoming a Jigsaw volunteer. You can do this by undertaking one of the following volunteering roles:

  • Volunteer Helper
  • General Volunteer

A Volunteer Helper is someone who helps support clients over the phone, or who acts as a facilitator for support groups. All our Jigsaw helpers have been affected by adoption and have undertaken their own personal journey through the issues of adoption. Helpers undertake a professional training course and are supervised regularly to provide ongoing professional care.

A General Volunteer is someone who takes on various tasks within Jigsaw; e.g., helping in the office, undertaking administrative tasks, or being involved in fund raising activities.

There are also opportunities for those with specific skills to support Jigsaw through volunteering their time when particular technical or professional skills are required.
